my first movie as a music director!!!

I am working on a new movie named 'Mazhavillinattam Vare' directed by my father Mr. Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri. you can check the details in the website.

this is my first movie as a music director and it is a wonderful opportunity for me to explore myself to the public. i have worked really hard for this project. As it is the directorial debut of my father, he is putting so much of effort in it. hope the movie and the songs do well and i need your prayers and blessings..!!!

I have started learning music when I was 6 years old. My first Guru was Sri. R.K.Ramdas, a well known musician in Kerala. i got the previlege to learn music from the great musicians like Sri. KUMARA KERALA VARMA, Sri. NEIVELI SANTHANAGOPALAN, Sri. SEETHARAM SHARMA, Sri. KAITHAPRAM VISWANATHAN NAMBOOTHIRI, Sri. MADURAI RANGANATHA SHARMA, Sri. AJAY NAMBOOTHIRI, Sri. THAMARAKKAD KRISHNAN NAMBOOTHIRI, Smt. S.V.S.VIJAYAM, Sri. YOGESH SHARMA, Sri. CHENKOTTA HARIHARA SUBRAHMANIAM, Sri. NAVEEN NAMBOOTHIRI, and Sri. JAYAPRAKSH(Hindusthani music).

MY EXPERIENCE:

I have the experience of being a sound engineer for three years in my home studio.

My first film as a playback singer was DESADANAM(1996), then SATHYAM SIVAM SUNDARAM(2000), LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL(2000), 4 THE PEOPLE(2004), SOUMYAM(2004), SALABHAM(2008) and so on. There are films yet to be released like BULLET, KAALCHILAMBU, SAMAYAM etc.

I have assisted many of my father's music works and I have got an experience of being a track singer in many of the film and album works.

I have done Re-recording work(background music for the whole film) for a Malayalam film named SALABHAM(2008) and many short films. There are so many advertisements, albums, devotional albums, Tele Vision Serials, short films, theme music works and feature films in my credit as a singer and music director as well.

I have done hundreds of concerts with my father and on my own as a Carnatic Vocalist.

I have participated in many of the Music Therapy(an emerging concept in medical field) sessions all over India with the team of Swathi Thirunal Kalakendram Trust, Kerala.

I have experience as a Carnatic Vocal teacher in Swathi Thirunal Kalakendram for a couple of years as a part time job.

I am doing Online teaching also for Carnatic Vocal students.

MY PASSION:

I have a passion in the field of music and sound. I would like to be the best among the great music directors and sound designers in the world.
